I will admit I was the first one to admit I didn’t think broadband phone would go anywhere. I’m from the old school and really didn’t want to try broadband phone, but my local cable provider has such a great deal I decided I would give it a try. I’m hear to say that broadband phone is here to stay for a very long time. First I will go to the drawbacks with a broadband phone. There is only two things I really don’t like about my broadband phone and that is this.

First, the phone works well but when your talking at least to me it seems like you’re a million miles away from the person your talking to. I mean you can hear everything on the phone, but it seems like the person your talking to is a million miles away. The other drawback and it’s a big one is if you lose your broadband connection or it’s down the phone can’t be used. Now those are really the only two bad things about the broadband phone.

Now let’s look at the good part of the broadband phone. The price is really comparable to most as I get unlimited phone calls per month for 39.95. I can make as many calls as I want so that is a really good deal. If your running a business or make a lot of phone calls than 39.95 is really a bargain. As long as you have a broadband connection than you are always ready to go. I really like the phone and how easy it was to set it up. I would recommend anyone to get a Broadband phone. They work very well and the price is right. As more and more companies get into broadband phone service that price could even go lower.

People thought I was crazy at first and once they use the phone and see how easy it was to setup a lot of my friends have ordered their broadband phone to. I look for this trend to continue as more people get information on this new kind of phone service. As people use this more and more it should snowball into something huge. Companies right now are positioning themselves to be major players in this market. I guess if we will just have to wait and see what happens.
